Itinerary
All the fun stuff planned for the week
Wednesday
Beach BBQ
6.30pm - 10.30pm, Chaplin Bay Beach
Whether you are already on the island, or arriving on the BA flight on Wednesday evening, come and join the wedding party at Paige’s favourite beach for hotdogs and beer.
Dress: Bikinis and board shorts – we’re keeping it casual. Please bring your own towel!
Thursday
Golf Day
9.30am, Turtle Hill Golf Club
With more golf courses per square mile than any other country in the world, no trip to Bermuda would be complete without trying out your swing on the fairways. Join us at Turtle Hill (voted number one par 3 course in the world in 2020) where we have arranged a morning tournament.
Whether you have a pro handicap or never held a club, we’ll play captains choice (a great game for beginners) in teams of varying skill levels to even the odds. P.S there will be lunch!
Prizes up for grabs.
Dress: Collared polos are required and bright colours are encouraged.
Cocktails at the Thompsons
6pm - 8.30pm, 29 Rosemont Avenue
Roger and Nancy invite you to join them at their home, Kelton, for cocktails and nibbles. Don your island best. Men - if you’re feeling local, Bermuda shorts – formal style – with knee socks, blazer and tie are the go-to on the island. Ladies, show off your tan, look hot, glam it up in a cocktail dress (think Bond Girl meets Lily Pulitzer).
If you’re looking for your night to continue, we will be heading into town to Front Street’s Front Yard (about a ten minute walk from Kelton) to sample some local delicacies (dark and stormies).
Dress: Island formal.
Friday
Beach Day
10am, Elbow Beach
Today is yours to explore the island. Check out our favourite things to do and favourite places to eat on the Make a Holiday of It page. The bride and groom will be at Elbow Beach from 10-12pm for a much-needed restorative swim and to soak in those last rays before the big day. Stop by Paige’s favourite (and super local) diner – the Paraquet – which is a two-minute walk from the beach for Bermuda fish sandwich, fries and the world’s best black and white milkshake.
Dress: Sunscreen and your own beach towel.
Saturday
The Big Day
4pm, Mid Ocean Beach Club
Today’s the day! Please make your way to the Mid Ocean Beach Club to be in your seats by 3.30pm.
We’ll keep the rest of the evening’s plans a surprise… carriages at midnight…
Dress: Men, linen suits and shirts, tie optional or Bermuda formal. Ladies go long and colourful!
Sunday
Boat Day
12pm, Hamilton Flagpole
Recover Bermuda-style out on the water - truly the best way to see the island.
Meet us at the flag pole in town by 11.45am to board the boat. We will be returning to land at 3pm providing more than enough time for those heading back to London to make the Sunday night BA flight.
Dress: Sunnies and swimmers.
